Handlers,
not middlemen.
STAR K9 PROTECTIVE SERVICES LTD is a Manchester-based security company built by two working dog handlers. We're not a call centre, an agency or a franchise.
We started Star K9 because clients deserve to know who is guarding their site.
Too often, a client books security and someone they've never met turns up, with no briefing and no idea what matters on that site.
We do it differently. The two directors of Star K9 are both SIA-licensed Door Supervisors and NASDU-qualified dog handlers. We have our own trained dogs, our own vehicles and our own kit. When you book us, you get us.
We focus on K9 dog-handler security and static guarding, day and night, for construction, commercial, industrial and vacant sites across Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Yorkshire. As we grow, every handler we bring in will meet the same standard and work under the same written procedures.
The team
on your site.
Both directors are on the rota. They quote the job, plan it and work it.

Respect the dog
Our dogs are working partners. They get proper rest, welfare and care, and that makes them better at the job.

Honest quotes, honest reports and no over-promising. If something isn't right for your site, we'll tell you.
